Form A – Personal Details

At the top of Form A, applicants must declare whether they are applying for an SBI home loan as an applicant, co-applicant, or guarantor. Only individuals applying for home loans will select the “Applicant” option. Persons applying jointly for home loans will select the “Co-Applicant” option. Finally, applicants guaranteeing to pay the borrower’s loan in the event of default on the loan obligation should select the “Guarantor” option.

Next, fill in your personal details, including:

  • Name
  • Gender
  • Salutation (title)
  • Date of Birth
  • Marital Status
  • Name of Spouse, Father, and Mother
  • Total number of dependents in your family
  • Number of children
  • Category (SC/ST/OBC/ General)
  • Nationality, Residential Status (Resident/NRI/PIO) and Religion
  • Place of Birth
  • Proof of Identity Type, Number & Validity (Aadhaar, PAN Card, Voter’s ID, Driving License, Passport, etc.)
  • Highest education qualification and the qualifying year
  • Current address details in full
  • Duration of your stay at the current address
  • Type of Residence
  • Permanent address details in full
  • Contact numbers (landline and/or mobile number)
  • Personal email address
  • Permanent address in full (if any)
  • Telephone number of permanent address
  • Office or business address
  • Office contact details such as telephone/mobile numbers, email address, and fax number
  • Home loan repayment mode
  • Relationship with the bank
  • Names and addresses of at least two referees who are not related to you

Form B – Employment & Income Details

In Form B, applicants will have to again specify if they are applying for an SBI housing loan as an applicant, co-applicant or guarantor. Next, select the nature of your occupation – Salaried, Businessmen/Self Employed Professionals or Pensioner. Following this, provide details as required under the following sections:

Salaried Individual

This section is for applicants who are employed under an organization and get a regular paycheck. If you are a salaried individual, you will need to provide the following details:

  • Name of the current employer
  • Status of Employment
  • Total Working Experience
  • Experience in the Current Job
  • Experience in the Previous Job (if applicable)
  • Name of the Previous Employer
  • If you had a previous employer, mention its name, contact number, and address
  • The current industry you are working such as banking and insurance, telecom, and IT & software
  • The type of your current organization
  • Current department, designation, employee number, and remaining service
